Light Kitchen Cleaning
Your kitchen area will be the most focused area of your attention. Ocean swims, hikes and other adventures for summer means this area will see a lot of traffic.
- Make sure the inside of your microwave is clean
- Clean your kitchen sponge, wet thoroughly and pop it into the microwave for a minute or two. Let it cool before removing.
- Give the refrigerator and freezer a look to ensure nothing was left behind.
- Wipe down counters and all surfaces including stovetop and sink.
- If you see any dirty dishes, give them a good hand wash or place in the dishwasher.
Check The Trash
It’s possible your host may have forgotten to take out the trash prior to your arrival. Take a few minutes to ensure all the cans have been emptied and put new liners in them.
Outdoor Area
If your vacation rental has an outdoor area, look around and see if it needs any tidying up. Give the space a good sweeping and any furniture a quick wipe down.
